    E36 with m20 flywheel

Been talking to super4 a out this

Looking at putting a m20 lightweight flywheel in my e36 323i both are 228mm

will a 228mm clutch from e36 323i fit with the release bearing or will I need the one from a m20 e31 323i?

    Also will my starter fit

Any have info on this a lot of threads online are from going from a 240mm clutch ro the m20

Youll need an e30 starter to match the flywheel. The only way to keep your starter is if you swap the ringears on the two flywheels.

E36 323i clutch wont work because its not sprung due to using the dual mass flywheel. Youll need an e30 325i clutch and pressure plate. ideally youll need an e21 323i release bearing.

Will still fit 323 and the 4cyl also using 240mm clutch.

You don't have to use sprung hub clutch disk it just make's it quieter at idle

Yeah I seen that but a 240mm clutch disc is more expensive then 228 would it be worth it
