Hi guys need someone to set me straight here.will e36 m3 mirror motors interchange from passenger to drivers and visa versa??dodgy motor on drivers side and found a complete mirror but its passenger side.
E36 motor in M3 and standard mirror are the same. I have done this before and cant remember if there is a left and a right. Im 90% sure they are made to be used in both mirrors.

Failing that left right shouldn't be a difference.
That would be just poor design and another factory line for no reason.
Have you checked if part numbers are the same?

Just not 100% if there a left and right or they are all one.
No,kinda thought they would be interchangeable but wasn't 100%.ill probably just strip out motor from standard mirror so.no chance in me selling em.
