    Old tires to new wheels

Hi all, I'm looking at a set of new 18" bbs lm's staggered for my e46 msport. I want to transfer my existing tyres over from the original staggered 18" mv2's.

My question is the mv2's rear is 8.5J and the new wheels is 9J. This half inch make a difference when I transfer the tires over?

what size tires do you have on the mv2s? unless there already stretched you'll be fine

    Check out www.willtheyfit.com

Throw in wheel/tyre spec and it'll give you a basic idea of the change.

If the arches need a roll just give me a shout. I've done plenty of members cars on here

If they're stock tyre sizes they'll be fine

    Hi,

    255/35zr18 rear

    225/40zr18 fronts

Opinions on switching over. Which wheels do you prefer?

If it's original mv2s of LM reps then I'm all for the mv2s

I had mv2 then went to lm reps just before lm rep came the most common wheel ever.

I then got rid of them for 18" style 32s

Lms are nice, mv2s are cool aswell but fairly common and don't stand out at all, if you get a look at your car with both styles fitted you would see which suits it more. All depends on colour and ride height imo, here is my saloon with MV1 and MV2s, can look totally different on certain cars
