    polishing vs diamond cutting

    have a set of bbs 090s (style 5s) and want to get the lips polished. i tried myself but not happy with the finish. a lot of people telling me to get them diamond cut. whats the difference ?

    Diamond cut will be machine done and then lacquered over. This is how BMW wheels are originally done.
    There's a load of lines machined onto the surface for the laquer to stick.

    Polished means no laquer.... Basically bare metal polished to a shine.
