    e39 heater issue

Picked up a 530d over the weekend, love the car but the heater isnt great in it. There is hot air at the vents and the fan is blowing fine but the heat just isnt the same as my e46, any ideas on what is causing this would be great.

    Thanks
    Johny.

Check coolant level , check thermostat , also make sure that dial on the top vent is wound all the way round to red even if the climate control panel is set to 32c the manual wheel needs to be turned to full red

Is it airflow or temp that's the issue if it's airflow then the pollen filter would be worth a look

No it stays the same, it is hot but just not hot enuff ( if that makes sense ). I had the control valve issue with my old e36 so I dont think that is the problem
