    X5 any good for towing

Are the automatic diesel x5 any use towing.looking at buying a jeep that will have to tow a small mini digger the odd time.
Would be between a x5 or shogun 3.2 did.
Both would have to be auto .anyone here had both.i like the shogun but would be tempted by x5 ,can't remember seeing many x5 towing anything so curious.would worry about either jeep stressing the gearbox.
    Opinions please.

I had an 06 Le Mans.
    Done a bit of towing.
Found the 6 speed auto faultless.
Very stable on the road, no prob doing good speed.
I have an auto landcruiser now, streets ahead of a Pajero.
