Was up close and personal with one recently and I left thinking its an awful yoke. 2.0tdi so plenty of poke but build quality not great, interior cramped and don't get me started on the doors.... The crappiest tinny sound when you close them. A square of dynamat wouldn't go amiss.

I like the small cockpit, I like feeling cocooned on the car. Didn't really find anything wrong with the build quality personally, a lot better than any jap or French equivalents
Mate of mine is looking for a GT TDI in the UK - wants all the options !!

Thought about buying one of these a couple of years ago. I love the styling but the interior was pretty cramped. I had another look at them last year but they seem to be only selling them with brain-damaged BlueMotion engines these days and 2.0 petrols are thin on ground.
Personally I'd import an R from the mainland.
