    what to buy

The mother is looking to change her car in the next few months (once we sell her current one) she's looking for something with the following

    new enough
    good mpg
big enough to carry to golden retrievers (estates or suvs ? )
    25k to spend. cash buyer
    low tax

was thinking something like a skoda octavia estate or haundai i40 estate anyone have any suggestions or know what either are like?
how old of a 3 or 5 series estate that budget would allow for?

    Thanks

No mention of tax or fuel so I'm just putting this out there:

    http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/bmw/...14495737282140

And enough in the budget for tax, jb4, intake and coilovers......

    You CAN persuade her Adam.....

Budget would allow for a 2012 2.0d f10/11 touring no problem

I'd say that any 2012 F11 Touring you'd hook in the €25k-ish price range will be a fairly leggy example....

What would you consider leggy ? I'd say at 70-80k miles most are just broke in these are diesel work horses at the end of the day most wouldn't be sitting around in the garage

Dunne motors actually having a smashing f11 sport in stock but it would mean dropping back a year not sure if your mother would be into the stiffness of the sport either

It should probably be on its 3rd timing chain at that mileage
