10 year expiry is approaching and I was reviewing the process for renewal, seems you don't need an eye test or the like. Seems things are a little more straightforward.

Unless your renewing a truck or bus license, in that case it's a full medical you need to do including eye test....and renewal is every 5 years

Since when? My truck and bus licence were always 10 year ones !

Not sure when it came in but that's the way it is now, probably since the NDLS centres opened. On the card you get a ten year expiry date on your B and A categories and a five years expiry date on higher categories. If you don't fancy renewing you truck and bus licenses in five years your license is still valid for cars or bikes etcOriginally Posted by camnhoj
