    E36 2.5 gearbox sloppy

    Any one solve this issue with a re fresh kit.very sloppy on the new car changing gears.gonna do a short shifter but can I get other bits to sharpen it up? looking for info guys.

    change all gear box bushings Dave , it makes a nice difference, look on realoem for diagram and parts and doesn't cost much either, my gear stick is rock solid and doesnt flop about since I refreshed the whole lot

    Z3 shifter is nice too.

    Ya it is,have in my road car.havent bought the same for the saloon,just a generic Ss but should do the trick.shorter the better for a track car I think I'll be calling Bmw today ordering all these bits to hopefully tighten up the gear change.
