I bought my 318i msport touring at the start of the year. engine started rattling. Just wondering is it worth anything or would it be of any use to anyone on here?
Dent over the rear driver side arch and the front bumper would need painting. Grey leather, parking sensors, good tyres on the front, mfsw, the usual.
What colour is that ? Probably you will get few euros if you want to break it. But if you are happy with the car I would put new engine of the old one is gone.

Is it an actual M-Sport?
Bumpers and Wheels would sell, Bit awkward to sell on panels as an unusual colour, Interior would sell if M-Sport, Black Headlining and steering wheel etc..
I'v broken a Coupe before, Took me over 12months to fully sell the parts though!

Rattle could be one of two things chain or vanos , either way it's going to be a 1k to fix whether you do chain and vanos or go the for the new engine I'd personally prefer to fix the one you have , breaking wise should be an easy 1k in it is well
As you said it could take an age to break. Also, not sure if i want to plough 1k into a car that's only worth max 2500 when it's perfect.
And ya, it's a proper sport, quite a nice spec car. It's a shame really. 3.0 would be a nice engine for it!
I'm sure few things from this car you could sell easily.
Interior, bumpers, alloys.
Drop in a 6 pot.......its a cool car be a shame to break it
There are good few 6 pots around for cheap. It could be really nice reborn car.
How hard is it nowadays to get an engineers report excepted and what's insurance like afterwards those would be my thoughts be simpler to sell and buy a 6 pot touring a few have come recently around the 2k price
