    Camshaft identification

    Can any one here identify this exhaust camshaft ? And which model it came on?

    I wouldn't get to hung up on those numbers cause BMW stamp them when they are blanks before they are ground to the required specifications

    Thing is I don't know I know the lift is 9.7mm and 240 degree and it's not an us m3 cam. But it is mounted at a 45 degree angle ... So I'm very curious about it

    It's an exhaust camshaft

    Has an e on it and it's mounted weird

    The E is for the German word for inlet .
    Exhaust would have an A for auspuf or exhaust
