We all probably know of some of these, But thought I'd pull a full list together... Any I'm missing, Fire me a PM and I'll add them in!

Not 100% reliable, But all have been accurate for me before and all FREE!

https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/
Very simple, Provides digital MOT records.... Lists all advisories and fails! And most importantly mileage (Only from 2011ish)
Doesn't work with NI registrations.

UK Reg will be J4 on the Irish Log Book.

https://www.ncts.ie/
Check when an NCT expires.
Note the due date on an expired NCT will be from when the new disc will be valid! (Won't actually tell you how long ago it expired)

http://www.adverts.ie/
Not 100% for current valid dates, Go to place an ad and insert the reg, Will give you Tax/NCT expiry.
I'v had it correctly give me Tax Expiry from as far back as 12/1997, So pretty cool to see if an old car is still alive.

Similar to above, Will show Tax/NCT expiry. (Current Only) Also shows number of owners (Up to 5)

https://www.motortax.ie/OMT/welcome.do
Click vehicle transaction enquiry, Will show if a car has been had a change of ownership in last 3 months (Private or Dealer) Also shows if replacement documents are issued.

Useful one this! Basically seen a BMW and want to get it's factory build sheet but can't get the VIN needed?
Input the reg here, http://www.targetcarparts.ie/ which should give you the full VIN, Then use the last 7 digits from that and input into http://www.bmwvin.com/

Worth mentioning, The above will also work on a Ford by putting VIN in here, https://www.etis.ford.com/ (Select Vehicle) This will also give you the original reg, Especially handy if it's a UK Import as you can now check the MOT history!
