E46 Professional Head unit

About a year ago I got a professional head unit for my E46, plugged it in along with the aerial adaptor lead and I've no aerial signal. I tried it in another E46 (facelift) that also has the business cd set up and it's the same.

When you go into retrofits on realoem it says you need an antenna amplifier with a phase in date of 03/01. I've checked part numbers of all models and the antenna amplifiers are the same numbers.

I have the vin number of a car that came with the professional head unit from the factory.

Anyone any ideas?



The "adaptor tubing" is just the aerial adaptor which I have already.

Could you check the vin of a car with professional stereo from the factory and see what the part no is for the antenna amplifier?

Tried it out on Dads E46 which is a 2003/4 built car, the exact same
