    Power lifting / weightlifting

Had a look through the forum and couldn't find anything about this so I said I'd start my own thread about it.
I recently started back power lifting, have been doing it on and off for the last few years and by God it takes a long time to get back up to pb's !
My aim is to do the 1000lbs challenge sometime ,
    Anyone else here lifting?

Used to do some power lifting but just doing circuit training in a gym in clontarf the last few years. Very hard to get back at it if you take a break for a while. Even just a few weeks. Keep it up anyway

Don't really power lift but recently hit some bests on the chest press. 100kg for a couple of reps on the barbell and 40kg (40kg each btw!) flat db press for 5. I'm 80kg.

If your doing 90kg for 6 and 1 rep max is 110kg thats a very very strong 1 rep max

Used love the gym, but the industry is gone toxic with everyone taking selfies and acting like they know everything there is to about the gym. I'm doing a bit of cycling and I go out on my yamaha wr enduro most weekends to get the cardio in.

Well spotted James , I train on my own in the shed with no spotter so I'm taking it on and off the rack myself, therefore I'm not risking anymore failed attempts 1 was enough! !!
