Recon racks cost from 250-280€ ,some of them not Awailable as reconditioned ,they might be dealer part only . So yes it can worth up to this price for used one .

You'd assume reconditioned would be as good as new and maybe for a z3m rack as those cars in genral have gone nuts price. But i dont think id be paying 280 for a used standard z3 rack.
This is my BMW. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My BMW is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My BMW, without me, is useless. Without my BMW, I am useless. I must drive my BMW true......

But if U not ready to pay ,that doesn't mean they don't cost that ,yes?
U probably would never pay what their rear axles cost ,but it's lot people who wanted to get them and pay what they cost, and will cost more in very near future ,same as E36 M3 prices going up ,or E30 M3 got to the roof .

Sorry if I'm not being clear. What I'm saying is a standard non reconditioned z3 rack is not worth that money.
New or reconditioned maybe they are worth even more.
The OP is referring to a standard z3 rack if I'm correct and not the ZM. I agree ZM would be big money.

Given the choice I'd still buy a purple plate over the Z3 standard rack.
