well guys just wondering what a 1994 4 litre 840ci is worth? sport, 107k miles, was green but entire car was stripped and painted original bmw red, all inside boot doors etc, very good factory looking finish, what is somthing like this worth? ive no idea really these days!

I would have thought 5k as it has been painted in a different colour.
I would be closer to Eamo's thinking. Plus afaik it won't be a sport as these were not available until later in production. Overall not original so not worth huge money. The older Nikasil engine would need to be checked too along with overall condition and history.
going by the chassis no it has sport seats, sport wheel and black headliner!
If it was really a sport this is the kind of spec the VIN should show

I guess its worth what you'd pay for it. I'd pay €5,000 for one in that condition with a history. Red wouldnt be my colour of choice but nice ones are getting rarer and rarer and they are sure to go up in value.
