    Nct fail on range rover.

    Howya lads.

A query regarding a failure at the nct for a front axle suspension imbalance.

The range rover is on air bags and was tested with a 55℅ imbalance on the front axle. The car is 131 and probably 60k on her. I'm wondering if it's worth throwing it back in to see if it will pass and hope the equipment was out of spec.

Other wise I think we are looking at a hefty bill for air suspension?

I don't think bushes would affect the suspension test and they would have mentioned it if it was?

I'd go with your first idea Marc. They do give trouble but not really at that age/mileage!

    These air systems are BS.

The mothers compressor was load as hell. Light on the dash and no adjustment. Low mileage too.

Land Rover want 800 plus vat for the unit.

I got a rebuild kit and rebuild watching tv on the couch for 150 shipped.

Common issues for Land Rovers on air suspension. Could be compressor or airbag leaking.... I'd bring it to a specialist if it fails again.... But since the suspension it isn't sitting on its ass no harm run it through again.......

Raise it all the way up and then level it off before going for test. Will give it more of a chance

Could also mess around with tyre pressures but watch that you don't go too much as that will also affect the m/km readout.
