Not much to it but can be a pain if they are seized

Thanks, Are they accessible with normal spanners or do I need an adapter? Iknow some are easy to get at and some arent.

Not sure specific to you car. Normally a 32 and if you can stretch to it an inner tie rod removal tool would be the way to go. Also a ball joint separator, penetrant oil and heat would be of help.

Replace inner and outer together and both sides at same time especially if your outers have not been changed and are same from new then get it tracked properly. An inner tie rod removal tool will make life easier but can be done without. Rare that inner tie rods are seized to the rack, its nearly always outer track rod ends being seized to inner tie rods. If your not comfortable doing the job then bring to local garage/BMW independent garage.

    Hope this helps,
