Question E36 Airbag Light just in time for NCT

So airbag light went on for the first time ever on my car and won't switch off now... Just in time for NCT... Does anybody know if this is a result of one thing in particular or could it be a number of things?

The best advice is to get the codes read.
It's usually the seatbelt connector wiring in a single airbag car, seat occupancy sensor in twin airbag models.
    Hope this helps.

I don't want to mess with that Dave, I think if a car has airbags and the light doesn't go on for the few seconds when you switch on the ignition it fails the NCT, but I want everything to work properly anyway. Thanks anyway!

Didn't need to use it since the light went on, and haven't tried but will check when I finish work.

, if it works you can rule out the airbag on the wheel , if it doesn't you need a new slip really ring happened me with the e36 and my airbag light came on
