F10 520d 'Top Up Oil' indicator

    Lads,

Whilst driving to work this evening, I was alerted to a 'Top Up Oil by 1 Litre' indicator...

The car was serviced back in July and has only covered a few K miles since then?

Has anyone else experienced this, as I caught me by surprise to say the least.

    The car is a 2011 F10 520d.

    Thanking you

    Sean

The electronic dipstick can act up and also can give some weird readings after an oil change. So it may not have gotten enough oil during the change but read "full".

Check the dipstick for actual level also check the sump bung is not weaping oil like mine was recently.

The f10 doesn't have a dipstick from what I remember reading, just the sensor which I hate.
