    E36 Coupe For Sale LPG

Due to changes in life (getting married for one thing!) , I need to change the long range car so am looking to move on the E36 Coupe. Am on the hunt for an E39 Touring petrol so a swap would be great with cash your way. Otherwise am looking for 600 ono.

I have owned the car nearly 3 years now and it has never once let me down in any way. Used exclusively for long runs to Cork , Donegal , Limerick etc I have often put 500 miles on it over 24 hours. Cruises easily at motorway speeds.

Since owning the car I have done the following that i can recall :

Oil and filter change every 6 months.
    New petrol filter in 2015.
Plugs changed every year. New set with the car.
Coolant flushed and replaced every 2 years.
Starter replaced with brand new unit.
    New drive belt and tensioner
Diff replaced and filled with new oil due to noise from rear end.
Rear brakes totally rebuilt with new left side wheel cylinder
    Both rear wheel bearings replaced.
New discs and pads on front in summer 2016.
New right front abs sensor in 2016.
Left front wishbone replaced for NCT Nov 2016
Both rear brake flexi hoses replaced
    New air filter Nov 2016.
New windscreen fitted when i got the car in early 2014 as someone had gone full Ace Ventura on it.
Fitted remote central locking kit in place of non functional alarm. I hate car alarms.
Previous owner had done head gasket and timing chain

Fitted with a Stag 4 Plus LPG system in June 2016 with a 60L cylinder tank in boot. 350-400 miles on a tank of gas for 25 euros.

    Tax : 04/17
    NCT : 01/18

    Bad points :
Acceleration. You'd need a calender rather than a stopwatch but is ok.
Some rust spots on the boot lid and just below.
Interior is a bit tatty but i did replace the front seats as they were really bad.
    160k miles
Slight top end rattle when started from cold.

So that's about all i can think of. Have tried to be as honest as I can. I'm away for the next two weeks so car can be viewed by appointment after 14/01. Obviously I need it until I have it replaced with a touring but might as well see if anyone is interested. I do hope it can go to someone here on the forum.

I think you should add the fact that has lpg into the title. Makes the car extremely cheap. Shouldn't hang around! I also suspect that paint would polish up nicely.

Andy : Not sure to be honest. I didn't get any history.

Forgot to mention in the listing there is a slight exhaust blow sound but I couldn't find the leak even after extensive looking so might be the center silencer is on the way out. Or i'm just to used to electric motor sounds

Car sold this afternoon to a chap in Cork. Thanks for all the interest. He intends doing it up as a show car so was really pleased to hear. Now just have to get to the airport and try and forget cars.......not

I'd like to see what's involved, will you be doing a YouTube on it? I'd consider fitting be myself.
