    2007 X5 self levelling issue.

Friend of mine asked me to post this up here

He has an X5 which was sitting low on the passenger side rear. Got a replacement bag fitting and all was fine for a few days. Noticed this week that the driver side rear was now sitting lower too. So he got the other bag replaced. Finally after getting the both bags replaced it is still sitting down on one side.

As a side note. The car seems level during the day after maybe it was pressurised. It only sits low in the morning which suggests a slow leak. But why one side first and then the other side followed? Calibration?

    Suggests please.

Genuine or spurious airbags? If I was to guess id say they still have a leak from either the supply pipe to the bag or it's a bad bag. If the car sits right when started up then I'd doubt it's a calibration issue.

It's a arrnot pair of bags. He's been recommended to spray soapy water on all the system to see for leaks anyway.
