dipped beams are awful in the F10 halogen..in the same boat and I'm getting a HID kit put in for the lows and ordered the philips racing H7s for the high.

just get 2 sets of good bulbs and fit them to the car
I know one car is getting the HID kit for the dipped beam and LEDs for the spots...probably see him from the moon
fitted those philips racing today to my highs and they seem to make a massive difference. Will know better next week as working late so will see how they look on dark country roads..because the previous bulbs were crap.
