e39 abs pump 1999 523i daily driver issues

Hi guys i have been plagued with abs fault like on the dash. Intermittant when engine heated.
I had the codes read and it said drivers side sensor faulty. So i replaced it.

Now the lights are in full time.. I have my NCT next week amd this could be the death knell for the car.

No desire to give it up but dont want to put much into her.. Cant affors to reallty

Any way to reset the dash light with a code reader.. Mechanic want 60 to reset codes..

Get yourself a cheap and cheerful code reader for your self. Could be anything including pump - plenty being broken now so you'd have a good chance of getting parts at reasonable money.
You may not have it fixed for next week, but at least you'd have the ball rolling for a re-test
