Been thinking about this for the last while. I'm for it depending on the colour and of course the car.

Yea me too, hate when you've cleaned the car and the wheels are gleeming but you can see a set of rusted dirty lookin calipers behind

True and also when motorway driving it's always cool to see the caliper behind the spinning wheel. I was thinking of doing the caliper one colour and then the retaining clip a contrasting colour.

Wouldnt go for any fancy colour; it never looks right unless its a performance Brake upgrade!
Give them a quick going over with a wire brush and go with Black Smooth Hammerite! Just to take the nasty look off them, but not to draw any attention to them!

Yea I was thinking black or silver for the same reasons you've stated...

I'm about to do the same. Bought the hammerite smooth black.
This way the brake dust won't be visible on the caliper/hub.
I did the silver on the previous car and it looked very good.

All up for it, black, grey & silver would be my choices, on the right color car red can look well also. Don't forget pics if you do it and Hammerite works a treat .
