A lot of work went into the car to get it looking like a full msport but the history of the car isn't what a potential buyer would like to see.
It's a stunning looking car, and the friend is keen to have a look but anyone know the full story to this car? Feel free to PM me and thanks in advance.

The history report didn't come back clean, but I've also viewed cars where cartel for example has been incorrect or made out the car to be worse then an engineers report.
If it has a bad past and is on the wrong side of 08 I'd imagine it won't be going anywhere for that money. In saying that it's a smashing car, I love the colour especially with the contrast of the interior. Like you said though you won't really know the story until you've actually looked at it.

The buyer is going from an e39 so wants a pre lci e60 six cyclinder. It does look smashing and agreed it's the contrast that makes it stand out.
Why pre LCI? That one is LCI.

They don't want any potential chain issues (rare I know in the 530d), I'll have to check again I thought it had the newer box but was reg'd on Feb 2007. Thought it was April onwards for LCI?
Pretty sure the 530d stayed with the M57 until the change to the F10

True but it has the facelift headlights, tail lights & interior. Could have been a demo.
