Imported from Bournemouth in the UK by myself in 2008 with 69k miles, now 123,700k miles, this is likely amongst the most well-kept E38 7 series you will find in the UK & Ireland. I owned this car between 2008 and 2014 and got the opportunity to buy it back in March 2017. I have spent 3 months most evenings restoring this car to a showroom condition, despite the fact that it was well cared for in the last 3 years, it needed attention, details below.
A genuine Sport model in Orient Blue metallic, it features sport electric seats, sport steering wheel, sport suspension, anthracite headliner, shadowline trim and 18" M-Parallel alloys.
The interior is immaculate with recently replaced BMW OEM carpet mats, complimenting excellent condition grey Montana leather.
Everything works on this car with no exceptions; upgraded MK4 DVD based navigation and 16:9 widescreen display, heater controls, air conditioning, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, all windows, soft close boot, front and rear heated seats, audio system (upgraded speakers and amplifier), CD changer, television (analogue), communications pack, AV in/out, virtually no missing dash pixels etc.
All restoration work below has zero miles, car has been warehoused during works since I re-purchased:
- Full alloy strip down, repaint and diamond cut to OEM finish
- Brand new set of Kumho KU39 tyres
- New OEM master cylinder
- New OEM Brembo pads all round
- New OEM fan shroud
- Install of factory upgraded 16:9 screen and MK4 DVD navigation (2017 map)

Full original tool kit and full size 18" M-Parallel spare wheel.
Comes with a binder 2" thick with receipts and invoices for all work performed by me with OEM parts over the years, plus original dealer work and independent work.
Oil services every 6-7k miles, last service 100 miles ago in March by Autotranz, Dublin.
A rarely completed full transmission service at 82k miles (5 speed automatic with Steptronic).
Full rear suspension rebuild over 2013. Partial rebuild on front end in 2012.
Intake system refreshed in 2012.
No modifications other than Orion V2 angel eyes and boot lid lip.
Drives, steers and shifts perfectly.

Car is kept warehoused and is turned over every few days since I completed the works last week, not taxed for the road. The previous owner kept the service records in the Excel format I provided him when I sold the car, so every receipt and record is detailed and available to view.

Price is a firm €5500, the work I completed on this car was mainly to see it back in a showroom condition and out of love for the E38, the very small profit I may turn on this is just payment for the parts and 30+ hours I spent on it.
