I need a footwell module coded to my E90 325i. Old one is banjaxed and I have a 2nd hand one to be fitted

Anyone here do it? Ideally around Midlands area but if I have to travel I will

I can sort you out eamo if you're stuck, I'm in Cork though. it just needs the VIN changed with Tool32 & then a default code to the car. Needs to be done while fitted to car.

EDIT: I meant to say that if your old one has problems with powering rear lights it might be possible to reset the counters on your existing Module to get it back in action.

Reverse lights not working and the letters don't illuminate on the gear surround when putting into P, D, R or D even though fuses and bulbs all check ok
My code reader keeps coming back with a short circuit message for the footwell module.

So hence my assumption for the FRM and Dr Google!

Yeah that can be sorted without changing your footwell module. As Rebel Ranter said your short circuit reset needs to be reset but you also need to find out why the short circuit happened in the first place.

More than likely the wiring in flexi going into boot lid? Common on e90s, and then just reset the lighting circuits on footwll module! Usually no need for new module!
