Two year NCT Cert

My wife received a letter in the post from NCT saying as the car is now approaching its 10th anniversary, if you book early you will receive a two year cert, fail to book early you will receive a one year cert, as cars 10 years and older have to be NCT'd yearly dont miss out and book early.

Have any of ye hear of this before?


Might give them a ring during the week as my car will be officially ten in November (no letter for me!)

Yes I'v done it.... Car needs to be tested 90days before expiry on 10th anniversary to get 2 years otherwise it only gets a year.

I'v a 2007 Fiesta here with NCT till November 2018... It would have been February 2018 if tested for a year.

Ring them anyway Cethern and tell them you never received the letter and try, worth a shot .
