Very clean original Mazda RX-8 for sale, car has full Mazda service history as well as a new engine fitted by Mazda roughly 24,000 miles ago. Car was a one owner car from new until 2015, and including myself has 2 since then. Mileage done since 2015 is approx 9,000km.

This car is in very good condition all round, it pulls very well and handles even better. At 60,000km it had its engine replaced by Mazda under warranty and all reports of works are present with the car. Also has a nice reg 06-WW-8 attached to it. Everything works as it should with no issues.

New NGK Iridium spark plugs just fitted

SUMMARY:

This is a very clean example showing very little signs of wear, the handling from this car is superb and she pulls very strongly all the way up the rev range. Would love to hold on to it but can't keep them all.

Its a smashing car Maurice and so much fun to drive. They tended to get a bad name as people didn't really understand them and the "do's & don'ts" that go with ownership. These are very much a "car persons" car and most that bought them treated them as a regular car in relation to maintenance and simple starting and stopping procedures. For example this car was owned by a Doctor who only used it for local commuting around Wicklow and I would have seen this car many times being just tootled along, barely warmed up and then turned straight off. These are not things to do with a 13B engine. They need to be driven and driven spiritedly in order to keep the engines healthy along with mineral oil changes etc. Mazda were partly to blame in this as they sold it as a 4 door sport tourer just like any normal engined sport tourer.

I hope it goes to a good home and if not Oh well I shall just have to make a space for it somewhere

They are very underrated. Few little things make them mega reliable.

Oooooooh so much wanna see it . Always liked the FC's and good ones are very hard to find, she looks very good and cabrio to. Rare enough now. Yes have always liked rotaries, have had a couple of FD's but always wanted an FC more.
