As Dave stated above, Autoline will quote a 15 year old M3 on a classic policy. Here's the website: https://www.autoline.co.uk/car/classic-vehicle/

I got a quote a few weeks ago for my 2002 M3. It was €730 for 5000 miles a year.

Is there a option to go higher with the mileage as running two cars wasn't really what I was looking for.

5000 miles was the highest option they gave me. The others were something like 1500 and 3000.

You can't take out a classic policy without another primary vehicle

I have my e36 and rx7 insured as classic. E36 is my daily. No other primary policy. Nothing sneaky on my half. First Ireland in fact offered it as they knew I wouldn't pay 2200 for a standard policy.

1995 and 1991 so plenty old. A 2003/04 M3 might not yet be considered a classic in one sense which is why it would need a primary policy.

I don't have a primary vehicle and I've the two M5s on a classic with first Ireland. In saying that when I first took out the policy about 10 years ago I did have a private policy.

I got a similar figure for a 2003 M3 with a €15,000 value. My full policy with Post Insurance this year was only about €150 more. I am 36 though.......

Fbd wanted 3400 this year for a full year when renewal came up

Upto now, only Brigg transferring it over from my other cars for the summer.

It's 15 now so probably get it insured as a classic in the spring as I have a Defender and X5 for everyday... Might even try insure the X5 as classic too as only really drive that in the winter or weekends or going somewhere where I don't want to take the Landrove

With that price I definitely recommend trying BOI insurance or Post Insurance.
