2003 e46 320d 150bhp black smoke when accelarateing

How yee all doing?? New to this forum recently bought a 2003 e46 320d 150bhp
Everything seems fine swirl flaps done and new oil brether on the turbo
Only thing that bothers me is when im driveing and put tge foot down
They seem to be quiet a lot of black smoke behind me
Any ideas to solve this would be great full

Boost leak is the first thing I would be checking. Have you cleaned out your EGR?

Is it mapped also and have cat removed

Does the Cat effect the amount of smoke output?

No the car not maped or decated its all standard

Didnt clean the egr valve yet will be doing it during the week
And will also have to check the vacum lines etc for boost leak

Cleaned the egr valve think its sorted now

Thank god no more black smoke
