    E60 I-drive question

    E60 LCI with non-nav M-ASK(champ)

Why does my box show nav related info such as distance to destination and arrival time.

Car does not and never had nav.

It just seems odd to have this info displayed when it makes no sense.

    E60 I-drive question

The following entries on the vehicle build also confuse me...
    698Area-code 2
8SACountry Spec. Release Of NavigationLaenderspez. Navi.-freischaltung
    8S8Country Spec.navi Control (acc)

All related to DVD/nav but no nav!

    Anyone else have anything similar?

I guess it's a standard on board computer screen and lack of satnav doesn't change the layout

Perhaps so, I just find it odd that they would leave it like that. Other screens change depending on the coding of the car...

Think you can manually set the distance at Journey start? Similar to the early onboard computers of the E36/34 era.

Boom! It works a treat. Thanks lads. The amount of times I clicked to reset not realising I just needed to turn the idrive knob to set distance
