E46 M3 Rear Sway Bar drop links.

    Hi,

I want to replace rear sway bar bushes and droplinks. I found this thread http://m3.madrussian.net/diy_rear_eibach_sway.shtml which seems useful. However I am still not clear is it easy to remove droplinks from the sway bar without some special tool? if so any tips?

    Thanks!

It's a handy enough job in all honesty. Getting the old drop link off the sway bar can be a pain but not that bad. Lots of WD40 and alot of twisting. If you are still having trouble you could get innovative with a small bearing puller and use a vice grips to keep everything in situ. I did it on my drive with basic tools many years ago.
