    E46 m3 smg slip ring

    As above guys looking for a squib/slipring off an smg car. Want to fit an smg wheel to my e39! Thanks!

    They are cheap enough in the dealer, I did this conversion on my e39 fado fado! Novelty wears off but that won’t stop you doing it!

    I bought a “kit” but it was not necessary really, it’s only two pins. That’s the only difference with the slip Ring too.

    Part number for the pins and covers:

    The part numbers are:

    61 13 0 006 664 Housing (1x)
    61 13 0 006 663 pins (6x)
    61 13 6 925 611 pins (6x)
    61 13 8 380 696 Housing (1x)

    So cud i just pin up the plug in my own slip ring? An not need an smg one?

    Nah, you’ll need the slip ring alright. They look almost identical, let me see if I can find my old slip ring (non-SMG) in the shed to demo.
