    Parts Specilists in the UK?

Looking for a few bits for an MSport E92 and unfortunately there are frig all for breaking here.

Has anyone dealt with any big breakers in the UK? Any recommendations?

I remember a massive BMW place popping up in an old Wheeler Dealers episode of all things but I cant stand watching the episode just to find the name of it! I've found a few on the internet but I'm really looking for someone here who has dealt with a particular breaker and found them easy to deal with re. delivery, parts as described etc.

    Thanks in advance.

I've dealt with Quarry Motors a good few times over the years mainly through their ebay store. Never had any problem with the parts and I've found them reasonable costwise

Yep, I’ve used these too and no issues.

Have you tried registering your needs on www.partsgateway.co.uk or www.partshark.co.uk?

The idea is that you put in what you need and breakers respond with what they have a prices. Also a lot of stuff on EBay too.

Before you go down the second hand route price up what they are new, sometimes breakers get notions of what things are worth. Use http://bmwfans.info of http:///www.realoem.com to get the precise part number. You can then enter it in to this parts site for a good indicator of price: http://www.carparts-pros.com

I have actually used CartParts-Pros to buy parts many times, but lately with the Sterling gone to pot you can get good deals from UK dealers, in fact, a lot of them are on EBay now too. Just use ParcelMotel, AddressPal or the like to get around them not selling to Republic of Ireland.

Quarry Motors are great lads, Traynors up north are also worth a shout.

Great thanks for the info, I have actually been in contact with Quarry Motors, I've been unsure about trusting the condition of parts up until now but I think I'll go with them. Unfortunately Traynors don't have the parts I'm looking for as I've always found them very easy to deal with.
