    looking for good oil

Any oil that meets BMW LL04 spec will do the job. A lot of people use Castrol edge FST.
Flywheel I would say is best replaced when or if it fails. No set mileage for such an item.

Castrol edge 0w-30 Is the recommended oil . And there is no set mileage for a flywheel . You can usually tell if int on the way out by just slightly pressing the clutch pedal (not all the way just a little bit ). If you get a vibration . Then its on the way out . And you should gwt it done . Usually with the clutch aswell. Try not to let it fully go or it could cause more damage.

As I said in above post . Slightly press the clutch pedal and if you get a vibration or unusual noise . Its on the way out

I wouldn't be too worried about what brand as long as it meets spec.Myself I would be more concerned with service interval .

That's not good enough as bmw love to talk Shite and tell you that you only need a service every 15-20 thousand miles. Depending on.your driving you should be doing an oil change roughly between half an 2/3 what the recommended bmw interval is.
