Well the coatings aren't for everyone. Ery effective indeed but if you like the therapeutic work of getting ut and doING a strip back and reapplication of a wax and sealant, then it's not for you. Also, some.don't quite like the glassy appearance on some.colours that would benefitake more from a nice wax.

I LOVE that glassy finish and the "maintenance free" thing suits me perfectly as I don't have the option to do it myself (though I'd love to).

Yeah, its what suits your needs and lifestyle - if you are the busy sort, who might have an hour of a weekend to give the car a quick wash and dry; its perfect. Its not that the finish looks bad in anyway, but on deeper colours, it sometimes can lack a bit of that warm glow that can be achieved with a nice wax. Obviously the trade off for the ultimate appearance is the extra maintenance required for the finish. Its hard to look past a ceramic coating for a daily driver!
