The M11 bolts are supposed to be reused and are not available to buy from BMW because they are " mated " to the con rod. The M10 bolts need to be used carefully and installer must be aware that the M10 bolts are infact actually designed for the s50 and not s54 . So do not adhere to the torque instructions as per ARP M10 . The only way to accurately install M10 rods bolts to the s54 is by using a stretch gauge.

I personally wouldn't bother unless the car was destined to put out mega power. Stock bolts have never failed and M11 are designed to be reused.
Thats excellent info! If I knew that before hand I probably would have reused mine as ARP ones were a bish to source. I should stop reading m3cutters...
