    E60 545i or 535d

Well its the old debate diesel vs petrol which was an easier choice many moons ago when diesels didn't come close to petrol but with modern diesels really upping there game its not as easy anymore

I chose the 545i as I feel personally its the 535d's direct competitior , for me it would be the 545i but that 535d is an excellent car both very nice dailys for wafting about in

Having a diesel that struggles to do 35mpg is pointless!

If purchase cost and running cost was taken out of the equation, you'd have to take the 545 all day long!

I'd be looking it at more as a 300hp car that does 30+ mpg. Maybe I'm kidding myself.

286bhp standard on the LCI model.
Safe remaps can produce 350bhp with ease!

And then the turbo blows up in your face and any shred of warranty that came with the car with it.

99% of maps cant be detected by the dealer so no issue there.
