Covers or washing unit? Covers are cheap enough from BMW, about 20 odd quid each primed (Painted are NLA)

The washers are gone too - i think it was the cold weather. Seems common issue. BMW wanted over 400 quid fitted

Picked up a pair of washer units on amazon delivered for €40, also bought a pair of brand new genuine spray covers painted from jbavarian.com shipped for €98.

Genuine BMW washers are about 85 quid each, takes about 20 mins to fit, very straight forward. Would you believe my passenger side one is now gone, I think its high cross wind on the motorway rips them off when they become exposed.

For this one I bought one from Amazon, will be interesting to see if there is any difference.

I lost one washer and cover around April also - circa €200 from BMW for washer + cover (primed only) + painted.

@Paddy, Ketron. Would be grateful if you could share exact Amazon links and your experience. Thanks !

The amazon one I bought was: (use parcel motel)

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sengear-616...adlight+washer

And I ended up getting genuine painted headlight washer covers from this guy:

Only difference between the genuine bmw washers and the Amazon one was the colour of the rubber o-ring, works perfectly!

Thanks Ketron. Ordered this morning. You saved me a lot of web research. Very grateful !

Note to others: I will have a spare washer and passenger-side cover ( in Sapphire black) which I will place in 'Car parts for sale' soon.
