Looking to order genuine mats and wondering if they came in colours similar to black. As in, If order black mats, is there any chance they might be the wrong shade? Did they come in "dark grey" for example?

Afaik if they're black they're just black. However I know what you mean. I've noticed the same thing. I think the "city" mats are a lighter shade of black than "velour" mats - and the carpet too.Originally Posted by Peter-E36

Just got off the phone with parts department and there’s black, anthracite, and grey which is quite light apparently. Originals that were in my car were anthracite according to the vin so definitely glad I looked into this. I know it’s being really fussy but these details matter damn it

Anthrazit is the dark colour matt available.
I believe you convertible owners can get matching hair nets too
Just ordered a couple of anthracite sets (and a set of wipers while I'm at it).
I'll make sure to order the hair net next time
All me beemers are gone.....for now.
