Not yet - I've been back in Ireland so I haven't had time to get a towing company to take the car out to an auto electrician yet - probably will toward the end of next week when I return to France

Does anyone know if abs unit 265 900 001 will work in place of 265 950 001? My understanding is the first is for ASC and the other for DSC

Usually a 002 module is for DSC and 001 is for ASC.

The vin decoder says it has DSC (S210A Dynamic Stability Control) and I saw here on another thread for the info I put above - I just wasn't sure if we could swap the units like that between 900 / 950 even if they are both 001

once last 3 digits are 001 , they are same 1000%

Thanks for that for the ABS :-) will order one soon then. small update... it just started again for no reason... finally will bring it back to Ireland in a month and see if the box can be removed by someone in Ireland
