Track Day Training

Is it worth it? Considering doing in the M135i, and I've looked into track day insurance too and I've come across this crowd:

2k excess but would still take the sting out of having a nasty prang!

As far as I know you don't use your own car for this but track cars owned by Mondello, the idea is learn the track and to gain enough confidence to take out your own car at a track day.

I would just go to one of trackdays.ie days. There are instructors available to jump in with you and go for few laps.Very friendly towards beginners. Also you can rent one of their cars if you would like.

The track day insurance looks like a great idea and good to see the cover damage to the Armco barriers for anyone taking a trip to the ring.

Did this in 2015 in the 335i and it was great!

More than enough track time, with a small number of people so never felt like someone was about to crash into me or anything like that. Do it you’ll love it!

Long wait for March though... Easier/quicker to go to Wales for a day just sayin’...
