    E92 m3 - dct

    Hi all,

As some of you are aware I'll be leaving the country shortly to take up a role abroad for a few years. Regretfully, this means I'll have to part with my e92 M3. I looked for the right car for c.2 years and eventually bought this car last year. I'm a long term M3 owner, having owned an alpine white e46 m3 for the last 6/7 years (which I still own).

    Key Details:
    Original Irish Car (registered 08/08/2008)
Mileage: 108k km (will increase slightly as it's still in daily use)
    Colour: Silverstone II
    Gearbox: DCT

Service History: Full 10 (7 BMW / 3 BMW Specialist) stamp service history as follows-

    1. 11/2008-
    2. 07/2010-
    3. 12/2011-
    4. 06/2012-
    5. 09/2013-
    6. 05/2015-
    7. 01/2016-
    8. 06/2016-
    9. 08/2017-
    10. 07/2018- Full Service just completed in Murphy and Gunn.

NCT: Expired in August. it's booked in for a test on Sunday the 26th of August and the car will come with a fresh test prior to sale.

Wheels, Tyres & Brakes: The car is fitted with genuine BBS CH-R wheels (19") with Michelin Pilot Super Sports All round (less than 3k km on the set). The car will come with the OEM brake set up with low mileage discs, pagid pads and braided brake lines.

    Interior:
I don't have any pictures right now but will add them later. The car has an unmarked black leather interior, with heated seats and professional navigation.

    Exterior:
The car has OEM performance splitters on the front and a carbon rear spoiler. Since the pictures were taken, the Carbon Mirror caps (which were ebay items fitted by the previous owner) have been removed.

    Spec:
High spec car fitted with all the desirable options, DCT, EDC, Comfort Access, Puddle Lights, Pro Nav etc.

    Good points:
The car has been maintained regardless of cost throughout it's life and the condition both cosmetically and mechanically speaks for itself. Any professional test welcomed.

    Bad points:
There's only 1 issue really, the tax. Given it was registered in August'08 its on emissions based tax i.e. €2,350 p.a. It is a chunk I'll admit, but then again deathbed V8 memories will always have a price...... If there's any way to man maths your head around the extra tax vs. an older e92 m3 at €1809, if you pay €1809 quarterly it's €511 per quarter or €2044 p.a. If you tax mine in one lump sum its a mere €300 extra per year for an exceptional Irish car with low mileage.

    Price-
For a quick hassle free sale I'm offering the car at SOLD. I don't think there's a better M3 available at this price. Regretfully M3s seem to have depreciated quite a chunk since I purchased, so I'm offering the car at SOLD which I think is fair. At this point, I won't accept any offers.

Private Mail preferred due to work hours, but if anyone has any queries (or if I've missed anything from the ad) please let me know. My number is X.

Just a quick bump on this. The NCT is on Wednesday so that’ll be sorted this week. I’ve had a few moochers contact me via Carzone, but nothing serious yet. Would ideally like to sell this in the next couple of weeks! Otherwise it’ll be into the shed with the rest of fleet until I return!

Just to update the thread, the car sold at the weekend. To my shock, it was bought by a 71 year old gent who fancied another fun car. Great to see someone growing old disgracefully and I hope I’m making the same silly decisions at his age! Sad to see the car go...but onwards and upwards!

haha thats deadly! I like your tax math.. Definitely had me thinking - he right! There is only a tiny difference if you pay quarterly.
