    E92 320d battery

I'm going to change the battery in my e92 but want to know if its just a case of swapping out old and new or will it need coding?

If you are swapping the battery, like for like, you will need to register it. If you are changing the spec of the battery (e.g. increasing/decreasing the ampage), then you will need to register and code it. Plenty of lads on here that have the right diagnostics though

It's handy enough to do and there are a few on here that can do it. It might be worth investing in Carly App & Dongle, it will do this job and many other handy diagnostic & coding jobs.
