    OEM and aftermarket BMW parts

    Hi nation,

Quick one, where do you usually buy OEM / aftermarket parts for your BMWs here in Ireland or outside the country? Any recommendations?

I would need e46 timing chain kit from INA and Valve stem seals “Elring” and more..

P.S. I ve looked up for correct section and could not find any better place to post. I apologise if this is wrong place.

    Cheers,
    Ed

For Genuine parts I mainly use
    Bavarian Belfast
    Carparts-pros.com or
    Bmwdirect.com

I have used the companies mentioned above by Mr H and all are good recommendations. Fine when you have enough time to plan purchasing. I have also used Frank Keane’s as mentioned by Dergside for handiness and if I needed items more quickly and Nick in parts has been extremely helpful as have his colleagues before him. But any BMW dealer with be OE and not OEM. For OEM Car parts pros would be an option. On a more local level I have used OTTO and have been happy with prices and service.

Top Part motor factors are nationwide and carry all OEM quality and aftermarket parts. I am affiliated but have been able to source parts for members on here by PM.

I used CC Automotive in Armagh today for second hand bits today and found them very good. It was cheaper to drive up from Limerick than get a pallet delivered but he had a fine mix of models in for breaking including a 50k mile E36 323i which I raided.
