Great video by Doug Demuro with Jay Lenno's car. I noticed that Jay didn't let him drive it. Jay drives with Doug as a passenger.

I didn't realise that it has E36 wiper and indicator stalks!! and VW Corrado door mirrors. I also noticed, which he didn't mention, an E36 electric window button on the console. I also spotted BMW air vents (I think).

The owners manual is worth a look too.

I remember McLaren having a small showroom on Park Lane in London in the mid/late '90's. Invented many excuses to stroll past it when visiting London in that period. Luckily my brother worked for a while at the Grosvenor House Hotel nearby. That made the excuses easier to come by.

Rowan Atkinson bought his from new, put up over 40,000 miles, crashed it twice and then sold it a few years back for a £7m profit.

Jay Leno has a video on what maintenance needs to be done fo F1. Fuel tank has to be replaced every 5 years. There is a maclaren mechanic who travels the world looking after them.

Rowan Atkinson bought his from new, put up over 40,000 miles, crashed it twice and then sold it .....

The repair bill after the second crash was >£1m. I recall a driving piece on the car in one of the classic mags shortly after the repair.

I'm with you there, favourite of them all also. The engineering that went into it was incredible, . I saw it at the Birmingham motor show in 1994 with my Father and brother, I was obsessed! My brother recorded this clip on BBC on a video cassette with Tiff Needell and I must have watched it twenty times. When he overtakes the camera car looking back at him, Holy S*it!! Enjoy for those who haven't seen it
