I was at the Techno Classica in Essen last week. Lots of fab motors. My eye was caught by one stand that had an m635, an e30 M3 (std) and a Z1, all very modest mileages and top notch. It shows how far values have moved, especially for the e24 and e30, that the Z1 was the cheapest of the 3 by a decent 5 figure difference. If I’d had a lotto win the day before I’d have happily taken the Z home. I very much like the others but I think the Z has to be the pick of that bunch?

I was there too, did you see all the 8’s? The white 850Csi was one of my favourite cars of the show.

Generally not a big fan of Alpine White on anything newer than an e30, but that was tasty alright! Andy would have had a field day with the Alpina's among the Coys and RM auction cars.
